La Conquistadora is a 3yr old NY bred filly by NYQUIST, the 2016 Kentucky Derby and 2015 Breeders Cup Juvenile winner. Out of the Speightstown mare Court Dress, she was purchased at the Fasig Tipton October Yearling Sale in 2021. Bloodstock agent Nick Hines signed the ticket for International Equine and led the advocacy for her purchase along with Clark Shepherd of Shepherd Equine Advisors. We are very excited for her broodmare potential as she is already a half-sister to two black-type stakes runners in Running Ray and Estillo Feminino and comes from the family of Dubai World Cup Winner, WELL ARMED. This family includes other notable Graded Stakes winner such as CYBERKNIFE, MONDAY MORNING QB, WELL DRESSED, PLAYED HARD and Japanese 3-Year-Old Champion SYMBOLI KRIS S. She was training with Belmont Stakes winning trainer Kelly Breen and was a maiden special weight winner at Belmont Park going 9f on turf in June of 2023. She will be joining the breeding operation in 2024 as her pedigree and physical conformation are extremely desirable.
